GULMARG
Gulmarg, a beautiful hill station lies at a distance of 56 kilometers from Srinagar, Kashmir, is amongst the most favorite holiday destinations. The word "Gul" means flowers, and hence the name Gulmarg signifies "a meadow of flowers". Skiing & Heli skiing
Heli skiing is where a helicopter takes one to the selected peak from where one can choose his own descent route. It is one of Asia's most famous Heli-skiing resorts. Come December, and the fertile green slopes of Gulmarg are blanketed with snow, forming some of the best natural slopes for ski runs of all levels
Golf Courses
Gulmarg also has one of the world's highest green golf courses, in addition to a clubhouse, which is a historical building in its own right. For golf enthusiasts, there are golf sets on hire, professionals to instruct one in the game, and temporary memberships.
Gondola Lift
For a fun filled ride of a most extraordinary kind, Gulmarg's newly made Gondola lift from high above Gulmarg, through pine clad slopes, is an exhilarating experience.
Alpather Lake
Is a beautiful lake at the foot of the Apharwat Mountain. It remains frozen until the month of June. The Alpather Lake and the melting snow and ice from the Apharwat Mountain form the Ningli Nallah, which is also one of the primary tourist attractions.
